As working with IBM Servers (including System x or BladeCenter), you should know about the IBM integrated management module which provides out-of-band management capability for IBM Servers.
IMM basically provides a web based interface with the following features:
- Around-the-clock remote access and management of your server
- Remote management independent of the status of the managed server
- Remote control of hardware and operating systems
- Web-based management with standard web browsers
The first time use IMM, you have to use its default username/password. And here it is:
Username: USERID
Password: PASSW0RD (notice: 0 is zero, not the letter O in alpha beta)
